speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not
love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

I thought I was walking alone but I couldn't see

I woke
up early one morning ;
and rushed right into the day.
I had so much to accomplish ;
that I didn't have time to pray.
Problems
just tumbled about me ;
and heavier came each load.
"Why doesn't God help me," I wondered ;
He answered, " You
didn't ask."
I wanted
to see joy and beauty ;
but the day toiled on gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn't show me ;

to come into God's presence ;

The fifties on the Canadian prairies were the days ofinnocence.
Christians didn't go to movies.
(Therewas no T.V. and no movie theatres)
I rememberpeople travelled for miles to the Mennonite Camp
meeting tabernacle in Didsbury Alberta to hear T. Texas Tyler,
a former Hollywood movie & music star give his testimony
about how he got saved.
We were shocked at the scandalous stories he told
about people drinking liquor,
smoking a demon weed calledmarijuana
and getting divorced in that den ofiniquity, Hollywood.
Then he sang this song...
I'm not alone, while walking on life's pathway,
I have a friend who walks along with me;
I'm not alone altho' I'm often lonely,
My Lord divine is by me constantly.
So when the storm and trial assail me,
And earthly friendships fail me,
I'll sing and smile o'er ev'ry mile
Till I reach my heavenly home;

Took A Walk With My Lord
I
took a walk with my Lord today,
and he took me to a place so far away.
Where never is there a tear to shed,
a place where you never even go to bed.
Then he showed me the streets of gold,
and the mansions he built like I was told.
There were children dancing and playing in the streets,
where no dark stranger would they meet.
And the joy on they’re faces, as they surrounded the Lord...
Singing praise and worship, to the one they adored!
As I was caught up in this beautiful sight...
I saw all his glory, his power, and might!
My legs how they trembled, my heart how it did beat,
as I looked at the scars, on his hands, and his feet.
I then fell on my knees, my God to glorify!
His love how it engulfed me, I thought I would die!
Then he reached out his precious hand to me and said,
"Child I love you, I did this all for thee!"
So when you think the roads to rough, and no more can you bear...
Just look to "Christ The Savior" and remember how much
he cared!
